I came here for the dosa and it’s exactly how I had it in Mysore, India. This southern Indian cuisine is a must try. Kumar is super helpful with any questions about the menu. It’s his mom’s recipe. So good.

BEST choice of Indian cuisine in the surrounding area. I would choose it over Tandoor any day. Come check it out, I promise you. Also, the staff is wonderful and gives delicious suggestions.

This was well worth the drive! Rich, authentic Indian food served by a most gracious host. There are so many dishes in the menu that I've never had before and must try! The fruit milkshakes are not served cold, but are very sweet! They were an unexpected experience in themselves. Chicken Vindaloo is next on my to try list for my next visit! The dosas (they look like a wrap) are deceptively large. I put a fork on one of my pics for reference. They are not designed to make you full, it's an excellent appetizer and shareable at the table! I'm craving another one just typing about it! Highly recommend and I will definitely well be returning!

I enjoyed a delicious meal at Amma’s today and will definitely go back to try more dishes. I’m more familiar with northern Indian cuisine, so trying the southern flavors was a new experience. I had the Masala Dosa, which is pictured in front of my hand for scale. There are well-seasoned potatoes inside - not filling the entire thing, that would be wild, as the dosa is enormous, but a very generous quantity. The dosa is served with a fresh coconut sauce and a peanut-based sauce, as well as a cup of lentil soup. I also had the Gobi Manchurian, which I didn’t get a pic of before I’d eaten a fair quantity of it. Gobi Manchurian is a rich dish of fried cauliflower. The staff are knowledgeable of a vegan diet and assured me that nothing I ordered had been prepared with ghee (clarified butter), or other dairy ingredients. All their spices are ground in-house. As mentioned, I will definitely go back to try more soon.

I had to write this review because the fried chicken dishes were exceptionally juicy and the curries were delectably creamy! Everything tasted great and was spiced accurately. Service was good and the food came out in good time. We dined in, but I will say the interior is a little worn out. Not unexpected given how many businesses have rented this space over the last decade, but it could use an overhaul. Primo takeout spot though I imagine.
